Three months later...

So yeah, it has been a while since I have written any blog post, and for that reason there will be lots of pictures, and this may possibly be a long blog. Now that we have been parents for THREE WHOLE MONTHS! We so are just experts at this(lol, yeah right).

Well, by the photo you can see that we are probably the luckiest parents ever, with a little girl with so much personality.

She has been growing like a weed! She is now over 14 Lbs. Which is pretty average for a three month old, but to put her weight into perspective. She was 6 pounds and 13 ounces, which was in the the 15 the percentile (a.k.a. really small), now she is in the 80th percentile. I am proud of her growth. I think a lot of it has to do with how strong our little one is.

Sarah has had some trouble with colic. It has been hard on her and me. I have gotten a lot of advice on what to do. It's so hard to know what really causes her problems and what helps. I did realize however, I have IBS. Which is no fun and has a LOT to do with anxiety, I noticed that she has a lot less colic when she is home around all the things and people she is familiar with.

Being a parent has forced me to be more confident in myself and the Lord. I am so far from perfect, but I know that the Lord loves his little children, and will inspire me to do what I need to for her. There has been countless times where I have had a little thought and tried something, and it was the moments thought that has helped me the most. Every thing from pack an extra outfit, to call the doctor. The Lord inspires! I just need to learn to listen better.

This is one of my favorite pictures from our trip to Las Vegas. It was a lot of fun, and honestly it's wierd that I am taking trips to Vegas. But life is full of changes.

I cannot sing enough praises of Andrew's family. We love them a lot! (I love my family too, don't worry). This picture has a lot of what I love about Andrew's sisters (I also include Angie, Andrew's sister-in-law). Victoria is here, but her and Becky were so helpful and attentive. They made us feel so special and loved. It's so wonderful to have married into such an amazing family that give with out any though of getting back. I have a lot to learn from them :0)

I also cannot get away with not mentioning how amazing my family is. I had a cousin of mine come all the way from, California. She made us some really cute hair things for Sarah, which in fact was something that we didn't have a lot of. She also made her a special white bow for her blessing (which I will talk about a little later).

The one thing that I felt bad about (but not really that bad) was that I had one friend come, other then that it was my family, at the baby shower. Which didn't matter. I just felt bad because Victoria spent so much time on all the food and everything, but it was in my mind a HUGE success. We were able to spend time with family we haven't seen since the wedding. Sarah got to meet two  of her cousins; Maya and Sydney.

We also got to see Peter, Mary and my Aunt Elizabeth. It's so crazy how fast time flies, because P. wasn't even crawling when we say him last. I must also say that I did have a friend Jen come to the party, and I would have had a few other friends but they were not in town that weekend. (Tough luck.)
