Good Bye Little Dog Friend

So this weekend we lost a very small member of our family. Chewbacca Seager has passed away. She was mine and Andy's first dog, and sometimes it felt like she was our child.

So in honor of her I feel that I need to say a few words about our little dog, so that she will not be forgotten.

I think my favorite memory of our Chewy was that she love me, very much. I got her because Andy loved dogs, and I wanted to make him happy. In the end though she was for me. When he would work late hours, Chewy was there to keep me company. She was so shy at first but grew to be a very adventurous and playful pup. When we lived in Las Vegas she would wait at the door for me to return, and where ever I went (till she died) she would follow me. Honestly, it drove me nuts. I realize now that she only had love in her heart.

I think that she just had so much excitement and love that she couldn't contain it. In fact that got her in trouble most of the time.

She cheated death a few times, once at our Vegas apartment, then another time at Dedree's, and here in Utah SEVERAL times. The thing that is the hardest for me is that I had an impression to take her with us when we left that morning, and I didn't. She was a good dog, and is now in doggy heaven making people feel very loved there.
